i.e. Reader coming soon
The gang up at Narrow House is ready for you to have a copy of the i.e. Reader.
Dozens of great poets, from D.C., Baltimore, and elsewhere, have read at Michael Ball’s i.e. series over the years. Now the i.e. Reader brings them together again, in a convenient and beautiful paperback.

We’re big fans of the DCAC here at buckdowns.com, so it’s a great pleasure to get to read there again, especially with Maureen Thorson, whose Twenty Questions for the Drunken Sailor is available at last from the Dusie gang.
The reading is part of DCAC’s Fall open house, Saturday Oct. 3. Open house is from 12-4; the reading will start at 1:00.
DCAC, 2438 18th St., N.W., in Adams Morgan.

a late substitution
Looks like my friend Dan Gutstein is on the bench & won’t be able to do the reading at the Big Bear Cafe this Thursday, so Wade has asked me to fill in.
It’ll be a fun night; Lindsay Bernal & Jennifer Cho will also be reading, and music will be provided by Stripmall Ballads — I got SB’s Since Jimmy Died the last time they played at Big Bear, and it’s great.
That’s this Thursday, 8:00 p.m., at the Big Bear Cafe, 1st & R Sts. N.W. Come by & have a beer and/or a coffee.
